Colorado has seen property tax bills surge by an average of 40% over the past two years, placing an undue burden on families. Denver Families for Public Schools is proud to endorse Proposition HH (Prop HH), a critical initiative that will significantly reduce property taxes and put money back into the hands of Colorado families and businesses, without compromising essential services like our public schools.
Prop HH offers significant property tax relief and financial benefits to Coloradoans – up to $5,000 in savings and up to $1,300 in TABOR rebates. The measure raises the current revenue cap by 1%, so the state can use more revenue collected to support local governments, schools, and communities without increasing tax rates.
We urge Denverites to vote “yes” on Prop HH on this November’s ballot. For more information, please visit the “Yes on Prop HH” website here.
